Just about everybody works and most of us want out professional lives and our ethical lives to line up. On today’s show, we’ll be talking with Bob Comis who was, until recently, a pig farmer. Then he realized that even though he wasn’t engaged in “factory farming,” he was engaged in taking life, so he turned it all around and became a veganic vegetable farmer, all documented in the upcoming film The Last Pig. Then we’ll chat with Liz Dee, co-owner and executive vice president of Smarties Candies. When a customer emailed to let her know that Smarties were vegan, Liz did the research that led her to go vegan and become an animal rights proponent.
