In this episode of Knowing Animals I am joined by Andrew Gardiner. Andrew is Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. We discuss his article ‘The ‘Dangerous’ Women of Animal Welfare: How British Veterinary Medicine Went to the Dogs’ which appeared in the journal ‘Social History of  Medicine’ in 2014.
